Ranjeetlal Ramesh Kumar & Co has been part of the Girgaon landscape for many years now, specifically at 101/103. The building is one of those old ones that has seen a lot of changes in the city. Inside, it is usually a bit of a mess with papers, samples, and heavy items scattered around. We don't really have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out, usually behind a desk covered in ledgers. Girgaon is a crowded place, and our spot is no different. We spend a lot of our time talking to suppliers and making sure the stock is where it needs to be. Sometimes the narrow lanes make it difficult for things to arrive on time, but we have learned to deal with the delays. It is a family-run kind of thing, so there is always some talk about personal matters mixed in with the business talk. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay cool when the humidity hits. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about things like that. Most of our customers have been coming to us for decades, passing the word down to their kids. It is just a simple operation where we handle our work and go home at the end of the day.
