Shree Rajendra Impex

Our business, Shree Rajendra Impex, is based in the Rangwala Building on Islampura Street. It is an old part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow and crowded. Working here involves a lot of physical labor, like moving boxes and checking inventory lists. It gets very busy when several shipments arrive at the same time. The building is No. 58, and it has a lot of history to it. You can really feel how old the neighborhood is when you walk through the halls. We spend most of our time either in the small office or down in the storage area. It is not the most organized place, but we have our own system and we know where everything is kept. Sometimes the roof leaks a little bit when it rains hard, so we have to be careful with the stock. We deal with the importing and exporting of various goods, which means there is a mountain of paperwork that never seems to go away. Islampura Street is always full of delivery trucks and handcarts. You have to be very patient to get anything done in this part of town. We are not a giant corporation with hundreds of staff members. We are just a small team trying to keep things running. Most days we start early and work until the sun is down. We just wear regular clothes and get the work done.
