Our office, Ramniklal S. Gosalia & Co., is located in National House at Jacob Circle. We are up on the sixth floor, in room 608. Jacob Circle is always buzzing with people and cars, so it’s a very active area to work in. We’ve been operating from this building for decades. The office has that old-school feel to it, with heavy wooden desks and stacks of ledgers that we still keep around for reference. It’s a family-run kind of atmosphere even though we have a regular staff. We deal with a lot of suppliers and customers every day, mostly over the phone or people dropping in for a quick chat. The elevator in National House is old and sometimes has a mind of its own, but it gets us where we need to go eventually. We handle a variety of trading and business activities from here. B J Marg is a busy stretch, and we see it all from our windows on the sixth floor. It’s not a modern, minimalist space; it’s filled with history and the smell of old paper and tea. We don't bother much with digital marketing or fancy websites. Most of our connections are built on years of doing business the same way. We have tea together in the afternoons and discuss the day’s work before heading home. It’s a steady place to be after all these years.
