Ram International

Ram International is located in Lower Parel, specifically at Kalyani Nagar number 215. This part of Mumbai is always changing, with new buildings going up all the time. Our spot is a bit more established though. We do a lot of trading and international business stuff. It’s basically us in a room with a few computers and some samples. We aren't some big multinational firm with a lobby and a receptionist. When you call, one of us just picks up the phone. We spend our days coordinating between suppliers and buyers. Lower Parel is great because everything is close by, but the rain can make it a mess in July. We’ve lived and worked around here long enough to know the shortcuts through the traffic. Our office at 215 is where we handle the fine details. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. We don't try to impress people with fancy furniture or expensive suits. We’d rather spend the time making sure the orders are right and the shipping containers are on schedule. There’s usually a stack of newspapers on the table and a few empty tea cups. It’s a real working environment. We don't have any scripted speeches or mission statements. We just show up and handle the business as it comes. It works for us and the people we deal with. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it count.
