Our office is Unit No. 1 on the ground floor of the Mahajan Compound. It is located right on L.B.S. Marg in Vikhroli. If you live in Mumbai, you know that LBS Marg is always packed with trucks, buses, and cars. The compound itself is an old-school industrial patch. Being on the ground floor is very handy because we do not have to deal with stairs when we are moving things in and out. Ram Charan Company has been operating out of this unit for a while now. It is a very functional space. We have desks squeezed in wherever they fit and plenty of samples of the chemicals and materials we handle. It can get a bit cluttered, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. The team here is a tight-knit group. We do not have a human resources department or a fancy breakroom for lunch. We just take our breaks together and talk about the daily news. It is a very practical way of working. We deal with suppliers and customers all day long, mostly over the phone or with people who stop by the unit. The traffic noise outside is quite loud, but you get used to it after a week. We do not have any big corporate goals written on the walls. We just focus on getting through the tasks and making sure our records are right.
