We are over in Andheri East at the Apurva Estate. Our spot is Office No 24. It’s a busy part of town and honestly, the traffic getting here is usually quite a headache but we are used to it by now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. Rakesh K Iyer Associates is what you'll see on the sign when you walk down the hall. We spend a lot of time here at the desks. It gets a bit loud outside with all the commerce going on in Mumbai, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of typing and some papers moving around. Sometimes the lift acts up so we end up taking the stairs. It’s just how things go in this building. People come and go. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals know where to find us. If you’re looking for Apurva Estate, it’s tucked in there amongst the other blocks. It’s a practical setup. We don’t have a big lobby or a bunch of assistants everywhere. It is just a straightforward office space for Rakesh K Iyer Associates. We keep our files organized as best we can. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We just do our daily tasks and try to stay on top of the pile. That is basically us. And we stay here at Office No 24 until the sun goes down and the city starts to cool off just a little bit.
