Rajiv Plastics Limited is tucked away at A-9 in the Nand Bhuvan Industrial Estate. You’ll find us on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East, which is one of the busiest spots you can imagine. The industrial estate is an old one, and it feels like every inch of space is being used for something. Our workshop is filled with the smell of heated plastic and the steady rhythm of the machines. It can get quite warm inside, especially when we have a big order running. We have stacks of raw material bags near the entrance and finished goods piled up in the back. The office is just a tiny room with a glass partition so we can keep an eye on the machines while we do the paperwork. It’s definitely not a quiet place to work, but we are used to the noise by now. We usually get our tea from the same guy outside every day, and that’s when we take a breather. Andheri East is always crowded, and the roads can be a nightmare during the rains, but we’ve been here so long it feels like home. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us, the machines, and the orders we need to finish. We do the work, we fix the machines when they get stuck, and we make sure the plastic parts are right. It’s a simple, hardworking life in a very busy part of Mumbai.
