Rajesh Metal Industries Private Limited

Our workshop is at 7-B, Hitex, which is part of the Vardhaman Industrial Estate. We are right near the Dahisar Petrol Pump on S.V. Road in Dahisar East. It’s a busy area, especially with all the cars stopping for fuel and the noise from the highway. Rajesh Metal Industries is basically a place where we work with different kinds of metal all day. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of stock piled up near the entrance. The floor is concrete and usually has some metal shavings on it. We spend our days cutting, bending, and measuring. It’s noisy work, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard over the sound of the machines. The office is just a corner partitioned off with some glass. We keep our logs and bills there. It’s not a place for visitors to sit and have tea, though we do have a small stove for making it ourselves. We’ve been in Dahisar for quite a while now. Most of the people working here live nearby in the neighborhood. We know the other shop owners in the estate. Sometimes we borrow a tool or help move something heavy when a truck arrives. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just do the orders that come through. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit through the roof in July, and we have to move the crates around. It’s just a normal, hardworking metal shop.
