Rajat Cards

Rajat Cards is over at 175, Dadiseth Agiary Lane, inside the Pratap Building. This is an old part of the city, and the building itself has a lot of history to it. Our space is usually packed with different types of paper, envelopes, and cardstock. The smell of printing ink is pretty strong here, but we don't even notice it anymore. We spend our days designing layouts and checking the print quality on the machines. It’s a bit of a cramped space because the Pratap Building wasn't designed for modern equipment, but we make it work. The lane outside is always busy, mostly with people looking for wedding cards or specialized printing. We often have people dropping in to look at samples, and we just show them what we have on the shelves. There is no big marketing speech here; we just show the cards and let them decide. Sometimes the machines act up or the delivery gets delayed by the heavy traffic in the lane, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is a family-style environment where everyone knows their job. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the bricks and mortar.
