Rajasthan Medico

Getting up to the third floor of Mehta & Vora Chamber can be a bit of a workout. We are in Room No. 49-51 at number 28. New Hanuman Galli is one of those places where you really have to watch your step because there’s always something happening. Boxes are moving, people are rushing, and the smell of medicines is everywhere. We spend our hours sorting through orders and making sure the right stuff gets to the right shops. It’s a small space for three rooms, but we make it work by stacking things high. Sometimes the lift works, sometimes it doesn't, so we use the stairs a lot. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, we’re too busy to think about that right now. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking invoices. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Rajasthan Medico has been around this area for a bit. We know the other shop owners and the tea guy knows exactly how we like our drink. We don’t use any complicated systems, just some old desks and a lot of patience. If a shipment is late, we just call around until we find out why. It’s a simple way of working that keeps us going. Being on the third floor gives us a little break from the street noise, though you can still hear the horns and shouting below during the peak hours.
