Rajanikant Janardan Dixit

My name is Rajanikant Janardan Dixit and I work out of Dadar West. My office is Number 448 on the ground floor. It’s an easy place to find once you get away from the main station crowd. Being on the ground floor is a blessing in Mumbai because I don't have to deal with broken elevators. I’ve been in this same spot for a long time. The office is pretty basic. I have a heavy wooden desk that’s been with me since the start. There are cabinets full of old files that I haven't looked at in years, but I can't bring myself to throw them away. Dadar is a busy place, always full of energy. I like to keep my door open to see people passing by. I get a lot of walk-ins who just have a quick question. I try to help them out if I can. It’s just me here most of the time. I don't have a secretary or anyone like that. If the phone rings, I’m the one who picks it up. My handwriting isn't the best, but I make sure everything is recorded properly in my ledgers. I usually stay until the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It’s a steady life and I wouldn't change much about it. It’s practical and it keeps me connected to the people around here. The letter S is on the door too. That’s enough for me.
