Raj Sales

Raj Sales is located at 3/250 in Dongri. If you have ever been to Dongri, you know how tight the streets are and how many people are always moving around. Our shop is quite small, but it is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of hardware and general goods. We have hooks on the walls and items hanging from the ceiling because there just isn't enough floor space. It is a bit like a puzzle trying to get to the back of the shop. We don't have any staff in suits or anything like that. It is just us in our work shirts. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and the people who live in the apartments above us. Since the street is so narrow, we can't have big trucks come to the door, so we carry everything in by hand or use small wooden carts. It is a lot of heavy lifting and walking back and forth. We don't have a website or anything complex. We just keep our shop open and wait for people to drop by. We've been on this corner for as long as I can remember, and we've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The air in Dongri is always full of the smell of food and exhaust. We have a small bench outside where we sit for a few minutes when it isn't too busy. It is a very old-fashioned way of doing business, but it works for us in this neighborhood.
