We are based out of a spot in the chawl area of Thane. It’s a busy place with a lot of history, and we’ve been part of the local landscape for a long time. People around here know the name Raheja Universal because we’ve been working on various bits and pieces of the local infrastructure and buildings. It’s not a shiny glass tower; it’s a real place where people actually work hard every day. Maharashtra, especially this part of Thane, is always moving, and we try to keep up with that pace. We have folks coming in from all over to talk about construction or just to see how things are progressing with their projects. Our office is simple, filled with stacks of blueprints and old registers. We don’t really bother with the high-end marketing stuff because our work speaks for itself in the streets around us. You might see our trucks or our guys in yellow hats around the neighborhood quite often. It gets loud and messy sometimes, but that is the nature of what we do. We like being in the heart of the community rather than tucked away in some far-off industrial park. It makes it easier to talk to people directly. Dealing with us is pretty straightforward. We don’t use a lot of big words or make promises we can’t keep. We just do the work and move on to the next task. It is just the way we operate here in India.
