Rago Industries

Rago Industries is situated at unit 27/2 within the Sardar Pratap Singh Industrial Estate. We are right on L.B.S. Marg in Bhandup West, which is a road that anyone in Mumbai knows can be a total nightmare for traffic. Our workshop has been here for years, and it definitely looks like a place where a lot of work has happened. The floors are scuffed and the walls show their age, but it’s a solid place to get things done. We do various industrial tasks depending on what’s needed, so no two days are exactly the same. Sometimes the place is filled with the sound of grinding metal, and other times it’s relatively quiet while we do some maintenance on the gear. We aren't a big fancy firm with a board of directors; we’re just a group of people who show up every day to do a job. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad despite the LBS Marg traffic. We have tea in the afternoons and talk about what needs to be finished before the end of the shift. It’s a very straightforward environment without any corporate nonsense. We just want to do a decent job and go home to our families. The industrial estate has a lot of other businesses like ours, so there’s always someone to borrow a tool from if we’re in a pinch. It’s a practical, hardworking atmosphere and it suits us just fine.
