Our office is up on the third floor of Varun Apartment. If you are coming down Kelkar Road, you just look for the building near Plaza in Dadar West. It is a very busy area, so we usually hear the horns and the street noise all day long. Apartment 301 is where we do all our associate work. It’s a typical Dadar building, a bit older but solid. We have been in this space for years, and we have grown quite fond of the view of the street below, even if it is just traffic most of the time. Inside, we have our desks lined up and bookshelves filled with all the stuff we’ve collected over the years. It isn’t a polished, modern office with those bright white lights. It’s a bit more lived-in than that. We drink a lot of coffee and spend most of our hours looking over documents or chatting with clients who drop by. Dadar West is such a central hub that we see all kinds of people coming through. We don't have a fancy reception desk; you just walk in and someone will help you out. We try to keep things simple and honest. The lift in the building is a bit slow, so we often end up taking the stairs if we are in a hurry. It’s just a regular Mumbai workplace where we put in the hours and try to get things right for the people who hire us.
