You can find us right opposite the Shiv Temple on R.C. Marg. That’s in the Chembur Colony area, which is a place that feels a bit different from the rest of the city. The temple is a big landmark, so people usually use it to find us if they get lost. On Mondays, it gets really busy around here because of the devotees, so the traffic on R.C. Marg can be a bit of a headache. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to make use of every inch of space we have. There are shelves reaching up to the ceiling, and sometimes we have to use a rickety old ladder to get stuff down from the top. It’s a family-run kind of atmosphere here. We sit at the front and watch the world go by through the open door. Sometimes the incense from the temple drifts across the road and smells quite nice in the afternoons. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who have been handling things for years. We know the neighbors, the guy who sells flowers outside the temple, and the local rickshaw drivers who park nearby. The building itself is older, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it feels like home to us. We spend most of the day answering questions and moving boxes around. It’s a simple life on R.C. Marg, just doing our daily tasks and keeping things moving.
