R. G. Keswani Industries (Marquardt Group)

You can find us at 21 in the Government Industrial Estate over in Kandivli (West). Being in an industrial area means things are always moving and there is always some noise. The sound of machinery and the smell of metal hang in the air most of the time. While we are part of the Marquardt Group, the atmosphere here at R. G. Keswani Industries is still very much like a hardworking workshop. The building has seen many years of use and has its own character. Stations are set up for different parts of the production process. It’s not always quiet, and it’s definitely not a corporate office with fancy carpets or glass walls. Work clothes are the norm, and we get our hands dirty when the job requires it. The estate is a maze of similar buildings, and sometimes people get lost trying to find our door. We keep a regular schedule, but things happen—a machine might act up or a shipment gets delayed at the main gate. Dealing with those issues is just part of the day. Lunch breaks are usually spent at the small canteen nearby or just sitting at our desks for a few minutes of peace. Experienced people and some newer faces work side by side here. It’s about getting the components right and making sure the quality is where it needs to be. Tools that work well are more important to us than fancy decor. It’s a practical place for manufacturing.
