R B International

Our place is located at 273/2168 in Motilal Nagar-1, right off the Link Road in Goregaon West. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy Goregaon can get. R B International is run out of this space, and it’s usually quite a packed house. We handle a lot of different things, mostly international trade stuff, so there are always papers and samples laying around. The Link Road is always noisy with cars and the metro construction or whatever else is going on outside. It’s a bit of a squeeze in our unit, but we make it work. We’ve been here for a while and we know all the local tea stalls and the delivery guys by name. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters, just a working office where we spend too many hours. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the door is open, you just walk in and talk to whoever is closest. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking emails, trying to coordinate things across different time zones. It gets stressful when shipments are delayed, but that’s just how this business goes. We’re just a small crew trying to keep everything moving. Motilal Nagar has its own rhythm, and we’re just one small part of it. We keep things simple, focus on the tasks at hand, and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad.
