R & T Jewellery (India) Pvt. Ltd. is based in the A-Z Industrial Estate over in Lower Parel. We are on the first floor of the Annex Building. Lower Parel has changed a lot lately with all the big malls and towers, but this industrial estate still feels like the old working part of the city. Inside our unit, it’s mostly about the practical side of making and handling jewelry pieces. We have benches where the work happens and a small area for the administrative side of things. It’s not a showroom with bright lights and fancy carpets; it’s more of a production space where things actually get made. We spend our hours looking at designs, checking the metal, and making sure the finishes are okay before they go out. The staff here has been with us for a while, and we all just kind of know what needs to be done without much fuss. Usually, the air conditioning is humming and there's the sound of small tools clicking away. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and businesses doing all sorts of things. We get our materials delivered, work on the orders, and then send them out to the retailers. It is a steady cycle that we have followed for years. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything. Most people who know us just come by the estate or call us directly. It’s a straightforward way to run a jewelry business in the heart of the city.
