Quba Auto Parts is right on L B S Marg in Kurla West. We’re in Shop No 2 on 17th Cross Street, Sampige Road. It’s a corner that gets a lot of grease and dust, which is normal for an auto parts shop. We have shelves full of stuff—spark plugs, filters, gaskets, you name it. If we don’t have it, we usually know where to get it by the next day for you. The shop isn't fancy at all. There’s usually an engine part sitting on the counter and a few old calendars on the wall. We spend most of our time looking through catalogs or helping guys who come in with a broken part in their hand. It’s a noisy area with all the traffic on L B S Marg, so we have to talk loud sometimes. We’ve been here at this location for years, and we know most of the mechanics around Kurla. The floor is usually a bit oily, and my hands are rarely clean. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know cars. We open early because that’s when the work starts for our regulars. There’s no air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that rattles a bit. It’s an honest way to make a living, helping people get their vehicles back on the road.
