Alam And Company is over in Pydhonie. We are on the first floor at Shop No. 4 on Mia Ahmad Chotani Marg. A good landmark to find us is the Star Petrol Pump, we are right near it. Being on the first floor means you have to walk up some narrow stairs to get to us. It's a bit of a climb but it keeps the street noise out a little bit. Pydhonie is one of the busiest parts of Mumbai, so there's always a lot of commotion outside. You can hear the taxis and the people all day long. Our shop is where we keep our samples and do all our paperwork. We have a couple of old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It's not a fancy office, just a place where we get our work done. We've been here for a long time and the building is quite old. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait for it to come back. We have a few people working here and we are all like friends. We get deliveries throughout the day and it can get a bit hectic in the small space. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one by the door. Most people who come to see us already know where we are. Alam And Company is just a small local business trying to keep up with the busy city life.
