Pushpam Overseas

Pushpam Overseas is located at 234/236, Prem Bhuvan, in the basement on N. N. Street in Masjid Bunder. Being in a basement in this part of Mumbai means it can get a bit stuffy, but it is where we do all our business. Masjid Bunder is famous for being incredibly crowded with handcarts and trucks, so getting anything in or out is always a bit of a challenge. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with transporters and checking the piles of goods we have stored down here. The space is filled with boxes from floor to ceiling. It is a practical setup for an export-import type of business. We don't have big signs or a flashy entrance. You just walk down the steps and you are in the middle of our workspace. We have a small desk where we handle the paperwork and the phone is usually ringing with people asking about shipments. It is a noisy environment because of the market outside, but you get used to it after a few days. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just focus on making sure the boxes are packed correctly and the addresses are right. It is a gritty, hardworking part of the city, and we fit right in with the rest of the traders here.
