We are tucked away behind the Hanuman Temple in Sector 13. If you know Navi Mumbai, you know this area is growing fast. Our office is at House No. 107. It is a regular house that we have used for our development work for a bit. We spend a lot of time looking at site maps and talking to the municipality people. It is a lot of back and forth with permits and plans. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time on the phone than actually building anything. My desk is usually covered in blueprints that will not stay flat. We work on residential stuff mostly. It gets pretty humid here, and the office fan does not always do the trick. We have a few guys who go out to the sites to check on progress. I stay back to handle the walk-ins. People come by asking about when the next project will start or if there is any space left in the new buildings. We do not have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just some chairs and a water cooler for whoever stops by. It is a small operation, really. We just try to get the projects finished so families can move in. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. It gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors about what is happening.
