We are over here at the Public Works Dept. in Parbhani, specifically located near the Darga Road area in Azam Colony. Most days, the office is just a mix of people coming in to check on road work or building permits. It gets quite busy during the monsoon because there is always something needing a quick fix. Our team deals with the local infrastructure around Maharashtra State. We have been in this spot for a while now. Some days it is just about managing files and talking to contractors who drop by. It is not always quiet here, especially when big projects are starting up. We mostly just focus on getting the day-to-day tasks done. The office has a very local feel to it, being tucked away in the colony. Sometimes people find it hard to locate us the first time, but we are right there near the landmark. We deal with various maintenance jobs for the state government. It is a lot of paperwork and meetings. Everyone in the office knows each other pretty well by now. We try to keep things moving as fast as the government system allows. It is just regular people working here, trying to keep the roads and public buildings in decent shape for everyone in the district. It is hard work sometimes with the heat, but we stay at it. The tea guy comes around twice a day which helps everyone stay awake.
