Our office is located at 317 in the Hill View Industrial Estate, which is just off L.B.S. Marg in Amrut Nagar. Ghatkopar West is always a hive of activity, and our little corner in the industrial estate is no different. Propack Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has been in this building for quite a while now. It’s an older industrial estate, so it has that sturdy, concrete feel to it. There’s always some noise from the other units—drilling or moving boxes—but that’s just part of the environment. Inside, we have our desks and a lot of technical manuals lying around. We spend our time working on designs and making sure the production side of things is running without too many hiccups. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It's more about grabbing a chair and figuring out a problem together when it comes up. The lift in the building can be a bit slow, so many of us just take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We don't use a lot of buzzwords or try to sound more important than we are. We just provide what’s needed and try to be honest about what we can do. It’s a practical place for practical people. When the day ends, we lock up and join the crowd heading back to the station or the bus stop. It is a long trip home, but the work here keeps us occupied well enough.
