Pro Logistics (I) Ltd is located at 501A Stone Harbour on Laxman Mahtre Road in Dahisar West. Being on the edge of Mumbai means we have a bit more space than the offices in the city center, but the commute can still be a bit of a grind for some of us. The Stone Harbour building is a sturdy place, and our office has plenty of windows, which is nice when the sun isn't too bright. We focus on moving cargo, which involves a lot of coordinating with warehouses and shipping lines. I usually spend my morning going through emails and checking if the overnight trucks reached their destinations. The office floor is made of that standard grey tile, and we have a few plants that are struggling to stay alive in the corner. We don't have a corporate chef or a gym; we just have a small pantry with a microwave that makes a weird humming noise. Our team is pretty small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. If the phone rings and the person who usually answers is busy, someone else just jumps in. It can be stressful when a deadline is approaching, but we usually manage to get things sorted out. We talk a lot about the traffic on the Western Express Highway. It’s just a group of regular people working together to make sure things get delivered on time.
