You can find us over at the Yuvak Mandal Saptah Maidan, right on Poisar Gymkhana Road in Kandivali West. We’re tucked into Mahavir Nagar, sitting right beside the MCA Club, so there’s always some sports activity happening nearby. The maidan gives the whole area a very open feel, which is nice compared to the cramped parts of the city. Inside, we’ve set things up specifically for functional movements. We don't have rows and rows of big stationary machines because we prefer having open space for people to move around. There are kettlebells, ropes, and plenty of floor mats scattered about. On some days, the dust from the maidan blows in a little, but that’s just part of being in this location. The people who come here are usually from the nearby apartment buildings in Mahavir Nagar. It’s a mix of younger kids wanting to get fit for sports and older folks just trying to stay mobile. We don’t have a big front desk staff or anything like that. Usually, you’ll just see one of us tidying up or helping someone with their form. The atmosphere is pretty quiet most of the time, except when a group class is going on and the music gets turned up. It’s a practical place to get your heart rate up without any of the usual gym drama. We’ve been in this spot for a bit and it feels like a real part of the local community.
