You can find us over at Bajaj Bhavan in Nariman Point, right on the first floor in room 106. Being in this part of Mumbai means there’s always a lot of noise and people rushing around in suits. Our office isn't as grand as some of the others in this building, but it works for what we do. We mostly spend our time on the phones or typing away at emails. It’s a trading business, so there’s a lot of back and forth about prices and delivery dates. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist to greet people; usually, you just walk in and find one of us sitting at a desk covered in notes. The air conditioning in the building can be a bit moody, so some days it’s freezing and others we have to open a window. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the city around us. Lunch is usually a quick bite from one of the stalls downstairs or something brought from home. We don't do much marketing or try to act bigger than we are. We just handle the trades that come our way and try to keep our clients from calling us too late in the evening. It’s a lot of routine work, checking stocks and making sure the billing is right. Nothing fancy, just a regular day at the office with the usual city sounds coming through the walls.
