We are located in unit B-114 of the Virwani Indl Estate. It’s a huge complex right on the Western Express Highway in Goregaon East. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic there, you know exactly where we are. The estate is always full of activity, with people loading and unloading goods at all hours. Our workspace is pretty functional, filled with various printing presses and cutting machines. It can get quite loud inside when everything is running at once, so we have to speak up to hear each other. The air is often thick with the scent of solvents and paper dust. We’ve spent many late nights here trying to finish up jobs before the morning deadline. The highway noise is a constant backdrop to our workday. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking in the estate because it’s so packed with delivery vans and workers' bikes. We don’t have fancy furniture or a decorated office space; it’s all about the production floor here. Our team has been together for a long time, so we have a rhythm down for how we move around the equipment. Lunch breaks are usually taken quickly at our desks or standing up near the loading dock. It’s a gritty, busy environment, but it’s what we know. Being so close to the highway makes it easy for us to send out deliveries to different parts of the city, even if the traffic is a nightmare most of the time.
