We operate out of room 611 in Prasad Chambers at Opera House. Anyone in the diamond or gem trade knows this building well because it is right in the heart of the action. Precigem is just a small office among many others in this large complex. We spend our days looking at stones under various lights to check their quality. It is quiet work mostly, which suits us just fine. The office has a few chairs for visitors and a large safe that takes up a good chunk of the room. We get a lot of natural light through the window, which helps when we are checking small details. Opera House is always bustling with people moving between buildings with small parcels. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background. It keeps things from feeling too silent while we work on the accounts or sort through our latest arrivals. We do not have a big sign outside the door. Most people who come here already know the room number and what we do. We drink quite a bit of coffee to stay sharp during the day. The building security knows us by name since we have been here for so long. It is a professional environment, but we keep it casual inside our own office. We do not use much modern tech, just the basics to get the job done. Sometimes the corridors get crowded, but inside it is just us.
