Pravin Corporation is tucked away on the second floor of a building at 22/24 Kazi Sayed Street. If you’ve ever been to Masjid Bunder West, you know how crowded and noisy it gets. There are carts and trucks everywhere, and it can be hard to even walk down the street sometimes. But that’s where the action is. We like being in the middle of it. Our office isn't very large and it is often full of samples and ledgers. We have been working from this floor for a long time. It’s an old building with a lot of character, and maybe a few squeaky floorboards too. We deal with various trading activities. It is a lot of phone calls and checking prices. We don't use any fancy talk here. We just tell it like it is. If something is delayed because of the traffic downstairs, we say so. People who do business in Masjid Bunder understand how it works. It’s a tough place to work if you like quiet, but we are used to the shouting and the horns. We keep our heads down and get the orders processed. Sometimes we lose track of time because there is always one more thing to do. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is our business and we take it seriously. We’ve made a lot of friends on this street over the years and we plan to stay here for a while yet.
