Pratham Ceramics

Pratham Ceramics is located in Borivali West at number 13. It is a simple shop where we keep a large variety of our stock out on display for people to see. Since ceramics and tiles are quite heavy, you will see boxes and stacks of samples all over the floor. Moving these things around for customers is a bit of a daily workout for us. The shop space is not very large, so we have to be quite careful about how we organize everything. We spend a good part of our day showing different patterns and finishes to the people who walk in. Most of our customers are from the local Borivali neighborhood. It’s a nice area but it can get quite busy on the weekends. We have a small wooden desk tucked into the corner where we keep our books and some catalogs. The floor usually has a bit of white dust on it from the tiles being moved around. We don't believe in using big sales pitches or anything like that. We just let people take their time looking at the samples. Sometimes we have to go to the storage area in the back to find a specific item. It gets a little warm in the afternoon because we keep the front open for light. We have some tiles mounted on the walls so they are easier to see. It’s just a couple of us here doing our best to help out.
