I’ve been working out of the Andheri West area for quite some time now, specifically around Lokhandwala. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and there is always something going on in these streets. My setup isn't like those giant commercial gyms you see in the shopping malls. It’s more personal and focused on what actually works for people on a daily basis. I keep things pretty simple when it comes to the equipment. A good set of weights, some space to move, and a bit of consistency is usually all it takes to see progress. I started doing this because I saw a lot of people getting lost or ignored in the big fitness centers. Here, it’s just about getting the movements right and showing up. The space is practical, nothing over the top. You won't find neon lights or massive speaker systems here. It’s more about the work and the effort. Lokhandwala has a lot of energy, and I try to bring a bit of that into the sessions, but I keep it grounded too. Most of the people I work with live just a few blocks away. We talk about food, work, and just life in general while we train. It’s a bit more relaxed than a standard gym environment. I’m usually around most of the day, so the schedule is fairly flexible for most folks. If you’re looking for someone who knows the local area and knows how to get people moving, that’s what I do.
