Prasam Exports

We have a few units, 508 through 511, in the Bezzola Commercial Complex. It’s right on Sion Trombay Road in Chembur. The traffic outside is almost always heavy. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but we are usually running around between the different rooms. We handle exports, which means a lot of checking on boxes and making sure the weights are right. Some of the scales we use are getting a bit old. We have a small kitchen area where we keep a kettle. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We deal with various items heading overseas. It’s a lot of coordination with truckers and the shipping lines. Sometimes the port is backed up and we just have to wait. We’ve been in Chembur for a good while. The complex has a lot of other businesses, so there’s always someone coming or going. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us doing the actual work. We keep the paperwork in big binders. Sometimes we lose a pen and everyone has to look for it. It’s a normal office, nothing special to look at, just where we work every day. The air conditioner hums loudly but it keeps us cool while we sort through the daily mail.
