Prapti Products

Our place, Prapti Products, is located at number 4 in Shivaji Colony. It’s right there on the Andheri-Kurla Road in Andheri East. If you know Mumbai, you know how that road is. It’s always packed with traffic and the noise from the street never really stops. We’ve been in this spot for years. The shop itself is tucked away a bit. It’s a small space, mostly filled with boxes and the things we sell. There’s a desk in the corner where the paperwork gets handled, but most of the time we are on our feet. The ceiling fan wobbles a little when it’s on high, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one that's faded over time. People from the nearby offices often walk past. Sometimes they drop in to ask for things. We keep the floor swept, but with all the inventory, it always feels a bit crowded. There’s a small window that looks out onto the colony lane, though there isn't much to see except the neighbor's wall. We get our deliveries in the afternoon, which usually means moving chairs around to make room. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and close up when the sun goes down. It is just a regular local business doing its thing.
