Prakash Kala Mandir

We are located in Dadar West, right near the Nakshaktra Mall on Chhabildas Road. Our place, Prakash Kala Mandir, has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside with all the items we keep, but we like it that way. We mostly deal with art supplies and things people need for their creative projects. If you walk past Narayan Smruti, you’ll likely see us. It’s a very busy part of town, especially with the mall nearby and the constant flow of people on Infantry Road. We spend our time helping students, hobbyists, and whoever else wanders in looking for something specific. Sometimes we don’t have exactly what they want, but we usually have something that works just as well. We don't really do the whole polished store look. It’s more about the rows of brushes, paints, and papers stacked up. It’s a bit of a maze, but we know where everything is hidden. We just like being around people who enjoy making things. It’s not about being the biggest shop; it’s about being the one that’s there when you need a specific pencil or a certain type of paper. We’re just here every day, opening up the shutters and seeing who comes in. It is a good way to spend the day, surrounded by all these colors and supplies.
