Pragati International

Our place is located right in the V.K. Industrial Estate, specifically at units 207 and 208 on Pais Street. If you know Byculla West, you probably know where the old Simplex Mills used to be, and we are just opposite that. It’s an old industrial area, so it’s always got that feel of people busy at work and trucks moving around. Pragati International isn't some corporate giant with glass walls. We’re in a real building where things actually happen. The stairs can be a bit narrow and the noise from the street is always there, but it’s home for us. We've been in this spot for a good bit now. Most of the staff has been together for years. We don't really do the whole marketing thing. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Some days are smoother than others, but that’s just how it is in an industrial estate. You learn to work with what you have. The neighborhood has changed some, but the vibe here stays the same. Practical, a bit gritty, and very real. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just the workspace and our tools. It's honest work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. Sometimes the power goes out and we just take a break until it's back. It’s just how things are around here.
