Prabha Plasto Tech

Prabha Plasto Tech is on the first floor of the Veena Beena Shopping Centre. We are right opposite the Bandra station, so the noise from the trains and the crowds is something we hear all day long. Getting up to the first floor through the shopping center can be a bit of a squeeze when the market is busy. Our unit, number 121, is packed with samples of plastic components and technical drawings. It’s not a very big space so we have to be very organized with how we store everything on the shelves. Being near the station is convenient for travel but it means there’s never a quiet moment. We spend a lot of time on the phone with clients or working on the technical side of plastic molding. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Mumbai humidity but we manage. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know the technical details of what we do. The office has a view of the street below where people are always rushing to catch their trains. We’ve been in this shopping center for years. It’s a bit worn down in places but it suits us just fine for the work we do. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for a long time. We don’t have any glossy brochures or fancy displays. We just show people the actual parts we work on. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We just keep going, one day at a time, amidst the Bandra rush and the station noise.
