Our office is tucked away on the fifth floor of the Ramaya building in Charkop. It’s Flat No. 501, so it’s not exactly a storefront you would just walk past on the street. Being in Kandivali West means we are right in the middle of all the Mumbai noise and activity. The elevator in this building has its moods, but it usually gets us up to the 2nd Sector without much trouble. Since we are in a residential-style setup, the vibe here is pretty quiet compared to the main roads. We mostly do our business over the phone and via email from these desks. There are a few of us working here, and we’ve made the space comfortable enough for the long hours we put in. Looking out the window, you can see the rooftops of Charkop and the traffic moving slowly below. It is a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't familiar with the layout of the plots here, but we like it that way. It stays a bit cooler up here on the 5th floor than it does on the street level. We don't have any fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a regular office where we handle our international trade and paperwork. We’ve been based in Mumbai for a long time, so we are used to the pace. Most of the time, we are just focused on hitting our deadlines and keeping the files organized.
