We are based in Bhandup East, specifically at A-4 on the second floor of Kirtida Apartment on M D Keni Marg. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs since there is no lift, but we have gotten used to it. The office is essentially a converted apartment, so it has a bit of a homey feel to it, even with all the power system equipment lying around. We spend our time designing and checking systems that deal with electricity. It is technical work that requires a lot of concentration, so the office is usually pretty quiet except for the hum of a few computers. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We do not have a fancy showroom or a reception desk. Usually, if someone visits, we just clear a chair for them near one of the desks and offer them some tea. Bhandup East is a busy neighborhood, and we like being part of the local mix of houses and small businesses. We handle our own paperwork and our own cleaning, so things are not always perfectly tidy. We just focus on getting the technical details right for the jobs we take on. It is a steady way to live and we have built good relationships with our clients over time. We do not feel the need to act like a big corporation because we prefer the personal touch of a small office.
