Urjas Energy Solutions

You can find us on the 3rd floor of the Crse Building inside the IIT Bombay campus in Powai. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a company, but it works for us. We focus on energy solutions, which means we spend a lot of time doing technical work and some testing in the labs nearby. It’s much quieter here than in the industrial parts of the city, which is nice. We have a small office with a few desks and some equipment scattered around. Most of us are more comfortable with technical drawings and data than with sales pitches. We aren't a big corporation with fancy lobbies. We’re just a small group of people trying to solve specific energy problems. We often work late, and you’ll see our lights on when most of the campus is quiet. We usually grab our lunch at one of the institute canteens or at the small stalls nearby. It feels more like a research environment than a typical business. We don't do any big advertising campaigns. We just focus on our current projects and try to make sure they actually work when they are implemented. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We just keep at it until we get the results we need. It’s a quiet but busy life we have here on the campus and it suits our way of working day to day.
