You can find us on the 6th floor of the Delta building. It’s on Technology Street in Hiranandani Gardens, which is a pretty modern area compared to the rest of the city. Organic Industries Pvt. Ltd. is a busy office where there’s always a hum of computers and people talking on headsets. From the 6th floor, you can see some of the other tall buildings and a bit of the greenery they’ve planted around the area. It’s a lot of glass and air conditioning, which is a relief when it’s humid outside. Our desks are clustered together, and there’s usually a pile of samples or documents in the middle of the room. We don’t have those fancy lounge areas you see in magazines; it’s mostly just functional chairs and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. People drink a lot of coffee here. The kitchen area is small, and there’s always a fight over whose turn it is to fill the water filter. Even though the address sounds fancy, we are just regular people working through a long list of tasks every day. We deal with a lot of suppliers and customers, so there’s a constant stream of emails. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and we end up ordering food to the office because it’s easier than leaving. It’s a steady pace, and while the view is nice, we spend most of our time looking at our screens or phones.
