Eternal Rubber Industries

Our shop is at A/7 in the New Sonal Industrial Estate on Saki-Vihar Road. Powai is a busy place, and the traffic on Saki-Vihar can be a nightmare during rush hour. We deal with rubber products. If you walk inside, the first thing you notice is the smell. It’s a heavy, industrial scent that you get used to after about ten minutes. We make all sorts of bits—washers, seals, and custom parts that people need for their own machines. It’s not the kind of stuff you see in a fancy shop window. It’s practical, everyday items. The floor is black from years of work. We have a few old presses that still work better than the new ones we tried once. Our team is small, just a handful of guys who know how to handle the heat and the molds. We don't do much marketing because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. People from around Mumbai come to us when they need something specific made out of rubber. We don't have a receptionist. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to the desk picks it up. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the rubber cures properly before we pack it up for the day.
