We are over at 602/D in the Om Jai Shivneri Co-operative Housing Society. That is in the 400066 area of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Being in a housing society means we are right in the middle of the residential buzz of the city. We do construction work, mostly focused on the kind of projects you see going up around Mumbai. It is a crowded city, so space is always tight, and our office reflects that. We spend our time managing different sites and making sure the materials arrive on time. The traffic in Mumbai is always a factor for us, so a lot of our coordination happens over the phone from this office. We aren't a massive corporation with floors of people; we are a more grounded team that knows the local building codes and how to get things done in this town. Most of our work comes through word of mouth and the connections we have built over the years. We handle the paperwork, the labor management, and the planning right here in the society office. It can get pretty noisy and busy, but that is just how Mumbai is. We don't really do the whole promotional thing. We just focus on the buildings we are working on and try to keep our clients satisfied with the progress. It is a lot of back-and-forth between the office and the job sites, but we like the fast pace of it.
