You’ll find us at the Mahalaxmi Industrial Estate, Unit Number 12. We are on the first floor in Gandhi Nagar, Lower Parel. It’s an old building, the kind where the stairs are a bit narrow and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We’ve been here for a long time. The space is filled with cans and plastic containers of all shapes and sizes. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we get a big shipment in. We have a small office area tucked in the corner, but mostly it’s just storage and workspace. The fans hum all day because it gets stuffy inside. Lower Parel has changed so much around us with all the new malls and towers, but this industrial estate stays pretty much the same. It’s noisy and there’s always someone moving a trolley in the hallway. We don’t have a big sales team. Usually, it’s just one of us picking up the phone and writing down what the customer needs. We do a lot of heavy lifting ourselves. My back usually aches by Friday, but that's just the work. We don't have a fancy catalog. Most people just come in and point at what they want. It’s a very basic operation. We focus on getting the orders out the door without too much fuss. It’s a bit dusty, but it’s our spot. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
