Pobc (A Div Of Patel Integrated Logistics Limited)€

Out in Bhandup East, we are tucked into Room No 6 in the Frances I One Crediao Chawl No -2, situated in Prem Nagar. Being a part of Pobc, which is a division of Patel Integrated Logistics Limited, we have a small but busy spot here. Working out of a chawl is different from a typical office building. It’s a very close-knit environment where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. The room is small, and we have to be very careful with how we use the space for our desks and files. There is always a lot of movement outside in the corridors, and the sounds of the neighborhood are constant. We have been here for a long time and have become a part of the local fabric. Most of our work is done on old wooden desks that have been with us since the start. We don't have air conditioning, so the ceiling fans are always humming to keep us cool during the humid Mumbai afternoons. We handle the logistics and paperwork for our division with a very small crew. It is a humble setup, but it works for us. We drink tea from the local stall and talk to the neighbors while we work. It’s honest work in a real neighborhood, and we don’t feel the need for anything more complicated. The address might be hard to find for some, but for us, it is just home.
