Our workplace is tucked away in the Smruti Building over in Jawahar Nagar. If you know Road Number 2 in Goregaon West, you know it can get pretty crowded with traffic and people moving about. We operate out of 159/4, and most of our day is spent around the blow molding machines. Plastic work is messy and loud, but it is what we do. The smell of heating material is something we have just gotten used to over the years. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone sitting in a suit. Usually, it’s just us in our work clothes, keeping an eye on the production line and making sure the molds are set right. The space is a bit tight with all the bags of raw material stacked up against the walls, and sometimes we have to shift things around just to make a path. Dealing with the heat in Mumbai while working near machines isn't always easy, so the fans are always running at full speed. Clients stop by sometimes to check on their orders, and we just talk to them right there on the shop floor. It's a simple setup where we focus on getting the plastic products finished and packed into sacks for delivery. It's just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily orders and making sure the machines don't break down or cause too much trouble during the night shifts.
