Plastic Cottage Industries

Sarang Street is where you find us. It's number 115. We deal with plastic goods. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things. The building has been there for ages. We aren't a giant factory with machines everywhere; it's more about the trade and making sure the supplies are right. When you walk down Sarang Street, you see all sorts of hardware and industrial items. We fit right in. The space is tight, so we have to stack things high. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to move, but we manage. My father used to say that if you know where everything is, the size of the shop doesn't matter. We spend our days answering the phone and dealing with the transport guys who bring the goods. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of dust and the smell of materials. We don't have a marketing department. We just have our names and this address. If someone needs plastic parts or household items, they come by. We show them the samples we have. We don't use a lot of fancy words. It’s just about being honest with what we have in stock. If it’s not there, we tell them when the next batch is coming. It’s a basic way to run a business but it has worked for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
