Plast Fab Works

You’ll find Plast Fab Works at H-234 in the Ansa Industrial Estate. We are situated on Saki Vihar Road in the middle of Sakinaka, which is a very busy part of Andheri East. The traffic getting here can be a real nightmare, so we usually try to get in early. Our unit is one of many in this estate. It’s a place where things are actually made, so it’s loud and busy. We work with plastics, fabricating different items based on what people need. There are stacks of sheets and offcuts everywhere. We don't have a polished showroom. If you come by, you’ll likely see us in the middle of a project, probably wearing earplugs because of the saws. The air always has that faint smell of heated plastic. We’ve been in this unit for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more concerned with getting our orders finished. We have a few long-term workers who know the machines inside out. We don't use any fancy management techniques; we just talk to each other and get the work done. Lunch usually involves someone going out to get vada pav for everyone. It’s a basic, hard-working environment. We aren't doing anything fancy, just solid fabrication work in a crowded industrial estate. That’s our daily reality at Sakinaka.
