We’re way up on the 12th floor of the Ozone Biz Centre, in the Ashirwad CHS A Wing. The address is Plot CS 227 on J B Behram Marg in Nagpada. It’s a bit of a journey if the lift is acting up, but luckily that doesn’t happen too often in this building. Pitalwala Realty Llp is where we work from every day. From this high up, you get a pretty good look at the Nagpada area and the city beyond. The office is modern enough, I guess, but it’s always cluttered with blueprints, old maps, and legal papers. We deal with real estate in Mumbai City, which is always a bit frantic and fast-paced. There are always new rules to learn and new buildings going up in every corner. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees or a call center. It’s just a few of us trying to keep all the listings straight. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, chasing people for updates or checking on documents. The office can get a bit noisy when we’re all talking to different people at once. We don’t have a receptionist, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets it. It’s an honest way to make a living and keep busy. We know the local market well because we’ve been around it for a long time. It’s not about having the best office; it’s about knowing who is selling what. We just keep it simple.
